Tap House Tavern was one of the highlights of our Ocean City trip! My friend and I stopped in during our road trip for a late-night meal, and we were pleasantly surprised by how fresh and delicious everything tasted.

We ordered burgers, wings, soup, macaroni salad, and drinks, and every item was flavorful and made with care. Even though it was late at night, the food tasted like it had just been prepared in the middle of the day—fresh, hot, and full of flavor.

The service was equally impressive. Everyone was kind, welcoming, attentive, and efficient, making for a relaxed and enjoyable dining experience.

If you’re in Ocean City and looking for a great place to unwind with good food, cold drinks, and excellent hospitality, I highly recommend Tap House Tavern. It was the perfect stop during our trip, and I’d happily come back on my next visit!

It was a Friday at 5:30 and the place was dead, so that should’ve been our first sign. We ordered the birria nachos and the cheesesteak. The nachos were a starter and costed $20. The plate they gave was so small and there was actually very little meat on the dish. It was the worst birria I have ever had. The whole meal was abysmal and I wouldn’t leave a review if it weren’t for the outrageous prices. The cheesesteak was fine and the fries were decent, but there was simply not enough food served to justify the price.

The woman who was our server was nasty when two our our party of 12 informed her that their sodas tasted bad and asked for something else to drink. The menu lacks nutritious options. To respond to the owner's question, this was 100% what I ate last night and truthfully represents the menu. It was the smash burger with the bun removed - as seen in the photo and the sweet potato tots. I'm not a liar. I was trying to eat something that didn't kill my healthy lifestyle choice. At first, I only reviewed with stars. Since asked, now you get my comments. The food was meh at best. We stopped in last year or 2 years ago for bevvies (pre-dialed in nutrition plan) and thought it might work for our family. It's just a bar with bar food.
